Pilates Fundamentals Small Group Training

Fundamentals ReformerIf you’re new to Pilates and ready to get started in a group setting, the Fundamentals small group training will give you the foundation you need to progress to more advanced drop-in small group training sessions.

These sessions are designed to improve your strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination. You will learn correct and efficient movement patterns to keep you and your joints healthy. The exercises you learn and the way you move translates into all that you do throughout your day.

After only 12 weeks, your posture will be changed. Your sports, activities and overall body will be changed. Pilates will change the way you move and feel for the rest of your life.

All sessions are 55 minutes in length and are limited to a maximum of four participants per class to ensure that everyone gets the personal attention needed to master the exercises. Modifications will be offered to accommodate different body types and levels of fitness.

Fundamentals MatThese classes are the foundational phase of training and are only appropriate if you have no major structural issues. If you have health concerns we recommend private sessions to ensure you have the individualized attention required to modify your program for your unique issues.  Fundamentals sessions are performed 1/2 on the Mat and 1/2 on the Reformer.  In order to progress beyond the fundamentals stage you will be expected to complete approximately 10-20 sessions and have permission of your instructor before moving on.
